Who Can Report

Who Can Report

PT Law 93/2021 ensures that any individual with relevant knowledge of wrongdoing has the right to report it through secure channels.

This includes current employees across all levels, former employees, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, volunteers, interns, and even stakeholders such as shareholders or members of administrative and supervisory bodies.

By providing broad eligibility, the law ensures that organizations capture concerns from all perspectives, not just those within the core workforce.

The law emphasizes the protection of whistleblowers to encourage transparency. Anyone who witnesses or experiences misconduct whether financial, operational, ethical, or legal can make a report without fear of retaliation.

Even information obtained during recruitment, pre-contractual negotiations, or past professional relationships is admissible, ensuring that potential issues are not ignored simply because the reporter is no longer formally employed.
